Medieval Banquet
You will be attended by the gracious and talented Ladies of the Court in their colourful medieval gowns, and served with mead, wine and succulent dishes. Ale is available to purchase for those who prefer a longer drink. Your Serving Lady will gladly bring it to your table.
Whilst feasting, you will be regaled with the "food of love"... Music. Enjoy traditional entertainment of Wales presented by accomplished performers. The tone of the evening is good fun and gracious manner.

The Banquet Hall: Suitable for banquets, wedding, meetings and conferences this grand hall holds 120 banquets style and 100 conference style. The banquet hall is used to host the regular public banquets and murder mystery events run by Jamesons Events. The Solar Room: Suitable for smaller groups this holds 25 for dining and 30 conference style. The Solar room is the perfect place to sample the fabulous feasting table.

Public Medieval Banquets are held throughout the year, or the Great Hall can be hired for an exclusive private party such as a corporate event.
Approx Timings Arrival 7pm at the drawbridge and invited to the pay bar for pre-feast drinks.
At 8pm you will be taken to the Guardroom and introduced to your Baron and Baroness for the evening. Then you will ascend the tower's spiral staircase to Caldicot Castle's Great Hall and shown to your table.
Parking is available onsite at the venue.
Traditional Mediaeval costume or smart casual wear (no jeans).

By CAR
From M4 take junction 23a and B4245 to caldicot. From M48 take junction 2 for Chepstow and follow A48 (towards Newport) and B4245 to Caldicot. Caldicot Castle is sign posted from B4245.
By RAIL
Caldicot Halt is served by mainline services between Cardiff and Gloucester. From Bristol change at Severn Tunnel Junction. The castle is about a twenty minute walk from the station.
By BUS
Bus Services run to Caldicot from Bristol, Newport and Chepstow. from The Cross, the castle is about a five-minute walk along Church Road.
