Scottish Banquet
Drinks reception On arrival guests are welcomed into Edinburgh Castle by a Piper and the flaming torches will be lit for the arrival of guests. A guided tour of the Castle including the Scottish Crown Jewels is available during pre-dinner drinks.
Scottish Banquet Guests are piped into the Jacobite Room or Queen Anne Room for the Scottish dinner. A Chieftain Haggis is ceremoniously piped in, addressed and guests are asked to toast the haggis. A clarsach player entertains throughout dinner. (Jacobite room pictured )
Music & Entertainment The spectacular Beating Retreat as the grand finale, performing in Crown Square or adjacent to the One o’clock gun - is guaranteed to end the evening on a high note!
