Elizabethan Banquet
The Hatfield Banquet takes place in the magnificent 15th Century Great Hall of the Old Palace of Hatfield House, a wonderful Grade 1 listed building previously home to Elizabeth 1. On your arrival, we will show you to your reserved places, where you'll be seated at long banqueting tables in the elegant grandeur of the Great Hall. You will be served a delicious dinner, which makes the most use of fresh local produce and the finest ingredients. The menu showcases traditional English fare with a contemporary twist. A half bottle of red or white wine is provided per person. During the evening, the Hatfield Players will treat you to authentic Elizabethan period music, song and theatre. King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I, together with their courtiers, will amuse and entertain you. After dinner, the party will continue - dance the evening away to our resident discotheque.
Banquet Prices: From 1st December to the 31st December price per person is £48.95 . From 1st of January until 31st March price per person is £46.50 + vat From 1st April 2008 until 30th November 2008 price per person is £47.75 + vat.

Public Banquets take place most Friday evenings, In December, banquets are run most nights of the week subject to availability. Arrival from 7:00pm with a cash bar The banquets starts at 7:45pm. Banquet & entertainment finishes at 10:00pm Disco until 11:30pm

Location & Directions
By road 21 miles (34km) North of central London - about 45 minutes. 7 miles (13km) from the M25, junction 23. Leave A1(M) motorway at junction 4. Follow brown signs to Hatfield House; the entrance is opposite Hatfield railway station.
By train From Moorgate or London Kings Cross. Kings Cross fast service to Hatfield takes 25 minutes.Trains every 30 minutes. 5 minutes walk or short taxi ride from the station to The Old Palace.
